Land provides all naturally occurring resources including soil and water which is vital to agriculture. Its obliteration then, means murdering the population. In the Greek epic poem Odyssesy, Homer uttered this infamous line, “I would rather be tied to the soil as a serf… than be king of all these dead and destroyed.” As the land has been degraded continuously, the world is approaching to an era in which people have to decide with what options Homer bared. The humankind however, can end or, rather, can prevent this sneaking scenario.

The LADA Final Steering Committee Meeting is already set to be held on November 26-29, 2013 at Puerto Princesa, Palawan. This is to present the project deliverables or final output of the LADA project as it will be terminated after it has been granted of one year extension this year.
