As part of the implementation of the GEF-7 Landscape Project, the DA-Bureau of Soils and Water Management (DA-BSWM), together with its partner agencies and organizations, conducted a series of coordination meetings throughout May 2026 to strengthen collaboration and advance project readiness.

Key engagements included meetings with the National Convergence Initiative for Sustainable Rural Development (NCI-SRD) and the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) to discuss their participation in the Project Board and Inter-Agency Technical Working Group (IATWG). Coordination meetings were also held with the Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), DA Regional Field Office X (DA RFO X), Samdhana Institute, and the Cagayan de Oro Water District to discuss project updates, collaboration opportunities, and strategic directions for implementation.

These engagements reinforced the commitment of DA-BSWM and its partners to promote integrated landscape management, strengthen institutional collaboration, and support the sustainable management of critical river basins in the Philippines.
