In preparation for its upcoming Internal Quality Audit and as part of the Management’s efforts in ensuring fulfillment of its commitment on continual improvement, the DA-Bureau of Soils and Water Management (BSWM) Internal Quality Audit (IQA) Team underwent the Training on ISO 9001:2015 Internal Audit using ISO 19011:2018 Guidelines. The Training was conducted from July 9-11, 2024 at the TUV SUD Office.

The Resource Speaker, Mr. Melchor P. Formacil, focused on the topics regarding the Quality Management System (QMS) Awareness, Documented Information Control, and applications through workshops on checklist preparation and Mock Audit Interview. The three-day Training was a combination of theoretical discussions and practicals.

The BSWM Management headed by Director Gina P. Nilo, Ph.D. and Assistant Director Denise A. Solano has been in full support to the IQA Team towards its continual improvement in order to better contribute to the BSWM’s implementation of the QMS.

Mallare, Mr. Dexter L. Agustin, Ms. Regine Marie B. Sabornido, Ms. Jamie Ann B. Tumolva, Ms. Marjorie M. Arriola, Ms. Heycel R. Briol, Ms. Jennilyn P. Cornes, and Ms. Ara Krizele L. Alcoriza. Also included in the group were Ms. Judy Ann C. Buhat, Katherine H. Cervania, and Mr. Denzel E. Casas.
