As part of our quality assurance measures, the Regional Compost Production Implementation Team (CPIT) staff recently conducted monitoring and collection of compost samples in various areas across Region V. The monitored Composting Facility for Biodegradable Wastes (CFBW) beneficiaries include the City Government of Naga, Local Government Unit (LGU) of Libon, LGU of Gubat and Sagawsawan-Mobo Irrigators Association, Inc.

The collected soil and compost samples will undergo laboratory analysis to assess nutrient content, maturity, and overall quality—ensuring they meet the standards for sustainable and effective soil enrichment. The Bureau of Soils and Water Management Soils Laboratory or Regional Soils Laboratory will conduct the testing of the collected soil and compost samples.

We extend our appreciation to our partner Local Government Units (LGUs), Municipal Agriculture Offices (MAOs), and CFBW beneficiaries for their continuous support and cooperation. Your dedication plays a vital role in enhancing organic farming practices, promoting soil health, and supporting sustainable agriculture for future generations!
