The BSWM joins the Conference on Sustainable Soil Governance for Agriculture in India at Eros Hotel, Nehru Place, New Delhi, which runs from December 3-4, 2024 and commences on December 5, 2024 for the celebration of World Soil Day.

Assistant Director Denise A. Solano of the BSWM presented the topic on Soil Governance in the Philippines with focus on the top five priority agenda of the BSWM and the relevant legislative frameworks. She is joined by Ms. Jovette T. Almeda, the Chief Agriculturist of the Agricultural Land Management and Evaluation Division (ALMED).

AD Solano and Ms. Almeda also served as Resource Persons during the Conference’s technical discussions and breakout sessions together with participants and guests from various government agencies, organizations and farmer groups. The GIZ-India is the organizer of the event.
