The Department of Agriculture – Bureau of Soils and Water Management (DA-BSWM) through The Soil Conservation and Management Division, conducted a Year-End Assessment and Planning Workshop to ensure the smooth implementation of the Integrated Approach in Management of the Major Biodiversity Corridors in the Philippines, and the accomplishments and ways forward of the Division.
DA-BSWM Director Gina Parde-Nilo graced the gathering and declaimed on the Bureau’s global prowess and competence in terms of sustainability and agricultural innovation and progress. And leadership in the goal towards Sustainable Land Management with the Global Environment Facility Program was highlighted.
Administrative, Financial, and Planning Matters were also emphasized leading to a more elaborate Workshop in preparation to CY 2025 and to the coming years of services. This envisions more improved and organized documentation and compliance, also serving as future reference in the pursuit of the Projects sustainability.
Also in attendance were representatives from the Director’s Office and Administrative Units – Accounting, Budget, Information, Personnel, Planning, and Procurement.
