The objectives of this Training Programme are to enhance understanding on the negative impact of agricultural practices on climate change and air quality, and to promote sustainable practices by providing knowledge on sustainable farming techniques that can reduce greenhouse gas emissions and air pollutants. It also aims to introduce technological innovations by showcasing advanced technologies and tools for monitoring and improving air quality in agricultural context, as well as to share diverse good practices to demonstrate successful strategies.
The DA-BSWM, headed by Director Gina Parde-Nilo and Assistant Director Denise A. Solano, is the nationally mandated agency in the sustainable management of soil and water resources for agriculture
