The DA-Bureau of Soils and Water Management (DA-BSWM), through the Compost Production Implementation Team (CPIT), visited Adoress Farm on February 15, 2024. The farm is recognized as one of the successful beneficiaries of the Composting Facility for Biodegradable Wastes (CFBW) in Laguna Province.

During the courtesy visit, Municipal Administrator Mr. Meinrado Q. Banaag Jr. delivered an inspiring Message on behalf of their Honorable Mayor Alberto S. Reyes, emphasizing the benefits of CFBW given by DA-BSWM he stated β€œKami po’y taos pusong nagpapasalamat sa Bureau of Soils and Water Management (BSWM) sa pinagkaloob niyo pong Composting Facility for Biodegradable Wastes (CFBW) sa Adoress Farm na matatagpuan po sa Brgy. Matalatala, Mabitac, Laguna. Ito po’y isang malaking tulong sa amin upang mabawasan ang basura dito sa aming bayan.”

During the visit, the team interviewed Mr. Amador Sanchez and Mrs. Tess Sanchez, the owners of Adoress Farm, to learn about their successful management of the CFBW unit in their farm. The couple serves as an inspiration to those interested in developing their land for sustainable agriculture.

“The greatest fine art of the future will be the making of a comfortable living from a small piece of land.” This quote captures the inspiring journey of Adoress Farm. Through the vision and dedication of Mr. Amador and Mrs. Tess Sanchez, the farm has been transformed from a simple plot of land into a thriving farm school. Their focus on organic farming techniques and innovative waste management practices has not only improved their livelihood but also serves as a model for sustainable agriculture.
